Did we tell you that we wanted to make The FLARE! bigger and better this year? Keep reading to find out some BIGGER and BETTER changes that we have made for The FLARE! in 2010 !

So, are we still going to Fargo?

Well, we thought we were, but now we are going in the opposite direction-to Bismarck!

Why are we going there? I thought all the fun stuff was in Fargo.

Oh no! We have an action-packed schedule in the works. Here are the tentative plans:

3:00-4:30 Dinner at Buffalo City Grill in Jamestown

    4:30-6:30 Trip to Bismarck

    6:30-9:00 Newsboys concert

    10:00-11:30 Bowling

    12:00-12:30 Pizza

    12:30-1:00 Worship Service

    1:00-3:00 Nerf Gun War

    3:00-5:00 Movie

    5:00-7:00 Trip back to Jamestown

    7:00-7:30 Breakfast at Teen City

    7:30 Home to sleep!

So, what do we wear? Can we still dress up "prom-style"?

You sure can. Remember though, that you will need to change after dinner-unless you want to go to the concert all dressed up! So, you can come in "concert-style" if you would like.

How much will all this cost me?

Well, if you register to go by March 28th, it will only be $40.00. That includes dinner, concert, bowling, pizza, Nerf gun war, movie, breakfast, and transportation!
If you register after the 28th, it will cost you $50.00 (which is still a GREAT deal for all that you get!)

Do I need to bring anything?

Well, you need to bring your appetite for a big dinner at 3:00. So, at the risk of sounding like your mom, "Don't spoil your appetite!"

You will need to bring a change of clothes if you choose to go to dinner "prom-style".

You can also bring your own Nerf gun. Guns and ammo will be provided for you, but if you want to bring your own high-powered bazooka, you can-just make sure it uses Nerf darts!

Why are we having a prom alternative?

The whole reason we are offering this alternative is to give kids like you an opportunity to have a memorable night and yet a night that is filled with God-honoring and wholesome entertainment.

Do I need to have a date?

A resounding "No!" You can come as a single or with a buddy. No pressure here!

Can I come with a date?

A resounding "Yes!" If you want to make it a date that is great too. Don't expect any romantic "alone time", though, because we will be busy with group activities the whole night long.

I want to go! How do I sign up?

Just fill out the registration form on line, or leave a message with Victory Church (320-1538), or email Pastor Luke (pastorluke@findvictory.org). Then send a $40 check (after March 21st- $50) to Victory (510 9th Ave. SW). Make sure you designate it as your registration fee in the little memo line.
