So, what do we wear? Can we still dress up "prom-style"?
You sure can! And after our fancy dinner this year, we will be attending a
somewhat formal concert. So, if you spent all that time and effort to look
your best, you may keep the look a little longer and attend the concert in
style! However, if you prefer comfort, you may change beforehand.
How much will all this cost me?
This year the charge will be $40. But just think of all you get for that--a
nice dinner, a concert, pizza, a Nerf gun war at the Bismarck YMCA, a movie,
a trip to and from Bismarck, and breakfast! Wow! That price can't be beat!
Do I need to bring anything?
Make sure you bring a change of clothes. Having a Nerf gun war in high
heels or a tux will definately slow you down! Also, you may want to bring
your own special pillow and blanket from home for the trip back to
Jamestown. After a full night of activity, a little snooze on the way home
might feel good.
Why are we having a prom alternative?
The whole reason we are offering this alternative is to give kids like you an opportunity to have a memorable night and yet a night that is filled with God-honoring and wholesome entertainment.
Do I need to have a date?
A resounding "No!" You can come as a single or with a buddy. No pressure here!
Can I come with a date?
A resounding "Yes!" If you want to make it a date that is great too. Don't expect any romantic "alone time", though, because we will be busy with group activities the whole night long.
I want to go! How do I sign up?
Just fill out the registration form on line, or leave a message with Victory Church (320-1538). Then send a $40 check to Victory (510 9th Ave. SW). Make sure you designate it as your registration fee in the little memo line.
